Handy Digital Multimeters VOAC86A (Discontinued)Specifications 2

RECORD Mode

Sample Rate 50ms
Accuracy CREST mode where ±10 digits (±40 digits for AC signals) are added to the measurement function accuracy at 23°C ±5°C when the signal has fluctuated for 200ms or longer or the auto range has required 1.5 sec. or longer (except for the electrostatic capacitance and (DC + AC) voltage measurement).
Accuracy ±220 digits are added to the measurement function accuracy at 23°C ±5°C applied to signal fluctuation of 0.8ms or longer.

CREST Mode

Accuracy ±220 digits are added to the measurement function accuracy at 23°C ±5°C applied to the signal fluctuation of 0.8ms or longer.

SORT Mode

Sort Time approx. 0.2 sec. (except for electrostatic capacitance and (AC/DC) voltage measurement)
Accuracy ±5 digits are added to the measurement function accuracy at 23°C ±5°C.

Functions

  • 3.5- or 4.5-digit display
    • approx. 5 times per second when the display is 3.5-digit, 4,000
    • approx. 1.25 times per second when the display is 4.5-digit, 40,000
  • Hold
    • Function to hold measurement operations at all measurement functions
  • Manual or auto range
    • Manual range selection
    • Auto range selection
    • Note: These functions are canceled when the measurement range is manually switched in the RECORD, CREST, SORT, hold, recall, or relative mode.
  • Data store and recall
  • You can store all display data in the memory and recall it later. Saved data can be called from other functions.
  • Relative mode
  • Relative mode can be selected from three operation methods.
  • (1) D operation
The relative value from the reference measurement value is displayed.
The operation expression is "Display value = measurement value - reference measurement value".
    (2) Percent operation
Measurement value is operated with respect to percentage to the reference measurement value and is displayed.
The operation expression is "Display value = (measurement value - reference measurement value)/reference measurement value x 100 (%)".
In this operation, the center of the bar graph is 0% and full scale display of ±200% or ±20% is used.
    (3) UNIT operation
The rate of measurement value versus the reference measurement value is displayed as a positive integer.
The operation expression is "Display value = measurement value/reference measurement value (UNIT)".
  • RECORD mode
    • The maximum and minimum measurement values are always saved in the internal memory.
All sequential measurement values are calculated without the time restriction to derive the average value.
    • When the 40000 button is held for one second or longer, the symbol "R" appears on the LCD display section and the RECORD mode is set.
  • CREST mode
    • You can measure the peak value of an instantaneous signal that is 0.8ms wide.
    • When the 4000 button is held for one second or longer, the symbol "C" appears on the LCD display section and the CREST mode is set.
  • SORT mode
    • An alarm sounds when the measurement value is stable for about 0.2 second and the maximum, minimum, maximum minus minimum, and average values are calculated and recorded.
  • Backlight function
  • Alarm mute function
  • Selection of the line frequency from 50Hz or 60Hz (Note: Always set this value before measurement because this reduces the influence of hum noise from the commercial power supply frequency on measurement values.)
  • Auto power off (APO)
  • Input alert
  • RS mode (Data transfer only. Remote control function not available.)
