GP-IB interface (for SC-7205) SC-701

*Factory option

The SC-701 (standard equipment with the SC-7207 and SC-7206) that is built into the SC-7207, SC-7206, and SC-7205 universal counters can be used with the external GP-IB controller to remotely set remeasuring resets, measuring functions, time bases and calculations, and to externally output measuring results data.

	Electrical and mechanical specifications are compliant with IEEE 488.1.
	The following interface functions are available for GP-IB:
	SH1, AH1, T5, L4, SR1, RL1, PP0, DC1, DT1, C0
	Equipped with REMOTE/LOCAL status indicator LED
	Remote control items
	Full remote control (Except some functions including on/off for the power switch or remote control-related settings.)

Address setting

The following items can be set from UTILITY - SYSTEM menu:

	Any unit address can be selected from 31 types (0 to 30).
	Either CR+LF or LF can be selected as the delimiter.

The SC-7207, SC-7206 and SC-7205 universal counters with SC-702 installed are capable of controlling the start of measuring and outputting comparator calculation results (open collector). Part selection/inspection results can easily be checked visually by connecting an external lamp, etc.

/TRIG (C-MOS input) Measuring is started by L pulse of 10 ms or more during /BUSY=Z period. /TRIG signal is disabled during /BUSY=L period. /BUSY (open collector output) During measuring: L (output transistor: on), during not measuring status: Z (output transistor: off) /HI, /LO, /GO (open collector output) One position is L (output transistor: on) according to the comparator calculation results. The rest is Z (output transistor: off)
